My family sessions are all about capturing the heart of your family, your connection, your children’s personalities, their little expressions, and the way you naturally interact together. While I’ll gently guide you into flattering poses when needed, most of the session is simply about being present with your children. Hug them, play with them, make them laugh. It’s in these in-between moments that the most honest memories and real love shine through.

All family sessions take place outdoors during the final hour before sunset, when the light is soft, golden, and incredibly flattering. I adore the natural greenery that changes with the seasons, and I have a few favourite grassy spots I return to often, but I’m always happy to explore a new location if you have one in mind.

A creative session fee is required at the time of booking to secure your date. After your session, you’ll receive a private online gallery of approximately 50–60 images with a mix of colour and black & white, ready for you to view and order.

What to Wear

For the most beautiful, timeless images, I recommend dressing your family in soft, neutral tones and avoiding bright colours, heavy patterns, logos, or graphic prints. You don’t need to match, just choose colours and textures that complement each other and reflect the season.

Earthy, deeper tones like olive, tan, rust, and mustard photograph beautifully in autumn and winter. For spring and summer, lighter shades such as cream, blush, tan, and soft pastels feel fresh and natural. Chunky knits, cosy jumpers, cardigans, and textured layers also add warmth and depth during the cooler months.

Most importantly, choose outfits you feel comfortable and confident in. And please wear shoes suitable for walking on grass or sand, as we’ll be moving around during the session.
